Suzi, I'll note that I went on a work trip this spring that involved meetings in both LA and San Diego.

I made a point of us staying in downtown LA because that puts you below the downtown interchange, which can save you a half hour of driving time to San Diego.

So we were able to bust out of LA and just hit the freeway south without crawling through any crosstown traffic.

(The Northern California example would be bypassing the MacArthur Maze.)

Thanks Epic. I'm actually in the ER waiting to get a bed. Long story and a bunch of strange symptoms. When I called my doc, I was told to go to the ER to rule out a stroke. Personally, I don't think that is my issue, but triage decided they want to run some tests and monitor me. Ugh.

I'm at UC San Diego Hospital. Finally got a room instead of the waiting area. They have drawn blood and there is an order for a head CT. Though they want to wait for some results before the CT.
