No, Katrina killed off O'Flaherty's, though I think they'd had some challenges before that.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Aw, sad. I probably knew that at some point.
Yeah I get that. I stayed at Elysian randomly when I had a business trip and there was some big convention in town so the Marriott was booked. The hosts were amazing and the price was right, so it has been my go-to in NOLA ever since. I recognize that there are other options near our peeps, but EFI is great.
We are now booked at Prytania Park for arrival Thursday and departure Sunday. I didn't make any airline reservations because I don't know if Brendon will be in NY or FL at that time. But we will be in NOLA for the weekend via some direction.
If I were to take a trip the last weekend in October, what would be some pros/cons of NYC, New Orleans, or Maine?
That's a pretty temperate time to visit NOLA. When Husband requested an outdoor wedding, our options were pretty much April or October.
Last weekend of October will also have lots of Halloween related shenanigans in New Orleans.
Looks like I will be in Philly Sep 24th - Sep 26th for a conference. Don't know the details yet.
Now I know the details. I'll arriving late morning on the 24th and leaving late the 26th. Looks like I have most of the afternoon on the 24th and maybe some time on the evening of the 25th. The 26th will be fully scheduled.
SF Bay Area Buffistas:
I know I haven't been at local events in a while, but I'm trying to get back into the rhythm of it. Unfortunately, I don't do Facebook and I've just mothballed my Twitter account.
What do the SF folks use to keep in touch for local gatherings? Is posting here sufficient? My profile email is good, if anyone wants to let me know privately.
Thanks for your patience.
