I stayed at the Prytania Park hotel last time, which was convenient and plenty nice. (I stayed at whichever was the cheapest of the three linked properties -- others stayed in nicer ones, which were nicer, but I had no problem with my room.) [link]

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I'm also open to a multi-bedroom AirBnB if that makes sense, Jess!
The Prytania Park looks great, actually!
I stayed at the Prytania Park too, and it was fine!
Yay, actual B&B rather than AirBnB!
I keep trying to figure out how I could make it work. I KNOW I can't. But I really wish I could!
Aw, my old neighborhood. I will have to do some nostalgic walking around in the vicinity.
I love the Elysian Fields Inn It's a little more expensive, but really terrific. It's right off of the highway and the airport shuttle stops right in front. It's a 10 minute walk to Marigny, and a 15 minute walk to the Quarter.
I am certainly partial to people staying Uptown, because that's where I am and the side of town where I think the better restaurants and bars are. The St. Charles streetcar is just up one block from the inns on Prytania.
Uptown forever! Downtown never! (j/k) (kind of.)
It's slightly amazing to me that the Uptown attitude is not just native, but is transferred to the transplants.
