It's right after Dragoncon, so I probably shouldn't. But we'll see.

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
It's a long shot for me too - I'm on vacation the last two weeks in August, and the first two weeks of September there's the annual clusterfuck convergence of first week of school, Jewish high holidays (days with no school), and TIFF (week with no husband), all of which means I'll be out for two weeks and then working from home for two weeks AND starting school myself...but I really really wanna go.
Woo for the possibilities!
I'm going to try and make this work!
Woot!
Okay, done - I'm on a flight that gets in late Friday evening and leaves at the crack of dawn on Monday, so I can go straight to the office. Work will just have to deal.
Neighborhood recs for Airbnb? I don't have enough points left for a hotel room.
(This means my calendar for that Friday goes: work a couple hours in the morning, tattoo appt, work maybe another hour, go to airport. Maybe lunch and dinner? Who knows!)
I'm going to try as well, but I'm supposed to be in New Orleans the following week for a conference. No guarantees.
Looking at options. Where should I look at rooms? It is cheaper for me to fly home to Fort Lauderdale then to New Orleans than to go directly from here. Ha.
I cannot help with the lodging question, but...and also hoo!
Fingers crossed, Maria!
I stayed at the Prytania Park hotel last time, which was convenient and plenty nice. (I stayed at whichever was the cheapest of the three linked properties -- others stayed in nicer ones, which were nicer, but I had no problem with my room.) [link]
