If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Sounds delicious!!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Nora just made me LOL

Quietly because I'm at work, but that was beautiful.

Not javachik

Thanks Dana. The Menil and Rothko Chapel were amazing. Loved both of them, and the Space Center. I rented a car for a week. We also went to the Hogg house and gardens and the one across Buffalo Bayou with the name I'm forgetting, collectors of English china, books, etc. Bats - not much to see during day. Oh well. The Museum of Natural History was so weird. Anything that was actual science, you had to buy another ticket to see, after the admission fee. The entire fourth floor = "oil and fracking is good" propaganda. Chamber of Curiosities = a few dioramas of fauna and a ton of taxidermied wall-hanging critters that rich oil men shot ages ago then their heirs donated to get them out of the house. The gems and Faberge eggs were fabulous those donations o la la. Had such a good time at thrift shops on Hempsted, had to buy a suitcase to bring the good buys home. Stayed at friend's son's house in Bunker Hill Village. I think my entire house is as big as their kitchen and dining room. They couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. It was a great trip and so good to see my friend. I can't imagine what hell the weather must be like in summer.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Nashville Buffistas! I will be in your city May 17-20, and I would love to get together. I will be busy a lot of the time with the Nashville Film Festival, but I will make time for Buffistas.

Kate, another plan change. Turns out T. is flying out on May 19th, so if I could take you up on your offer to stay at your place on the 19th, that would be great! And also I'm free all day on the 20th!

Our wings are not tired.

Cincinnatistas! I am in your fair city May 3-6. One of my awesome kids is graduating from Wilberforce on Saturday the 5th so DH and I are attending to show him how proud we are of his accomplishment. He had options for his basketball scholarship and chose a very challenging software programming degree.

Wilberforce is about an hour north of the city, but finding flights was quite the adventure and ended up flying into Cincinnati.

First, we would love to see people! Second, any advice on hotels north of the city? I am having more trouble than usual it seems. I have already cancelled and rebooked flights and cancelled the first hotel choice. Next is the car rental, but if you have any suggestions on hotels, or getting together let me know!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Yay! For your hotel, how close to Wilberforce do you want to be?

If you want to be close(ish), look in Xenia (closest to Wilberforce), Beavercreek (a little further out), or the east side of Dayton, like the east side of the 675 loop.
