Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Do we still have any Buffistas in the Atlanta area? I'm headed there on May 5 to see The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, and might be able to meet for an early dinner beforehand. Or possibly lunch with any interested Nashville peeps the following day.

Hey Matt -- I just saw your post in Natter about the play and realized I never responded to your question about meeting up with Nashville folks. So sorry! We had a birthday party yesterday and probably wouldn't have been able to get together, but hopefully we can arrange another mini-F2F in Nashville soon!

Thanks Kate. No problemo, I was so tired after all the extra driving Friday I wouldn't have been good company yesterday anyway.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I'll be in Chicago tomorrow and Thursday for work, and they packed our schedule so full (including dinner tomorrow night) that I won't have time to see anyone. Boo. So...I'll wave at everyone.

(Is Ema mediterranean restaurant good? That's where we're having dinner tomorrow night. The menu looks great.)

I've never heard of it, but it looks good. Also, if you save room, you could nip around the corner to Rick Bayless's Xoco for some outstanding hot chocolate afterwards.

Hot chocolate, yum!

My SiL posted pictures on FB today from Chicago -- she had a work trip there this week. But she flies home tonight, so we miss each other by less than 24 hours. How funny is that?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I will be in Oakland from tonight until early Saturday morning. I may have some time to visit with Bay-area folks. More details later.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Just wave across the river at me. If it's not raining at lunch I might actually be sitting directly across the river.

I know nothing of Ema, but I concur on Xoco.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Tommyrot, I live in Oakland and work in downtown Oakland. So I'd be happy to spring for drinks somewhere downtown tomorrow (Wednesday) if you like. Email my profile addy.
