Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

If anyone would like to spend the better part of a day tooling around beautiful Suisun Valley and drinking wine with me, 12 wineries are taking part in this year's Passport Sunday on 4/23/17: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Dammit that is so up my valley but I'll be on a plane!

not your mom's socks.

NYC-adjacent Buffistas, I am in Brooklyn on 3/11 - with HPF and DH. I have some programming things, but would love to check in!

LA-istas, HPF & I get in around 2pm to LAX on 3/28, I have a dinner event on 3/29, I forgot there was an extra day between Wednesday and Friday so we have some time there (and am hoping to see LOTS of people & sprog), and then I've been assigned 2 panels at Wondercon on 3/31 in the afternoon. We fly home at 8:30am on Saturday. Who wants to play & when? I'm happily beholden to USC for some time, the rest? Open to suggestions.

Scolapalooza

So it looks like I can arrive in Cincinnati on Tuesday, 3/28, evening, or Wednesday, 3/29, morning.

Where can I stay? What can I do? When can I meet people?

We are probably not going anywhere that week after all, because our roof is leaking ($$) and honestly surviving life is all I am up for right now. You can stay with me if you are comfortable staying in a family environment (I mean, I should probably check with my husband to see if that's okay but I can't imagine why not. I'd put you in my son's room. How do you feel about the Lego Millennium Falcon and Arduino? Because that's the decor.) If not I can recommend both B&B scale places or hotels. We'll be on spring break that week, so I am not working and the kids are off school. We could go to the Zoo, the Cincinnati Museum Center/Hall of Justice, that sort of thing.

Tom, how long will you be here? 1 day? Are you flying? Because I can get you from the airport. And take you back.

I'm the next neighborhood over from Casa del flea, and Wednesdays are super light work days for me (even if they weren't, I'd empty my schedule for you, because duh).

Going downtown to Carew Tower is always cool (though maybe not a huge thrill for people who live in the NYC area). And Smale Park downtown. And the carousel! Which I haven't done yet but totally want to do. Maybe Findlay Market? And...I am a cave troll who doesn't know what's going on in the city. But I can figure it out.

Also, Cincinnati is undergoing a brewery-splosion, so there is much good beer to be had.

How do you feel about the Lego Millennium Falcon and Arduino?

I'm not going to tell Tim about the Arduino, because he'll show up to tinker, and between him and Dillo, wacky shenanigans will ensue.

The Arduino is currently busy serving as part of a science fair project on citrus fruit batteries, but we should schedule some tinker time. Does Tim own any Kevlar? Peter wants some.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some in the attic. And he would actually love to tinker. It's his raison d'etre.
