I just rented a car for the weekend, to make comings and goings easier on myself, and maybe others. So Nanita, I can drop you at your hotel since we get in around the same time.

Yep! You might want to let someone know that you need alone time. As Laura's DH can tell you, during his first F2F, he stepped away to take a breather from the Buffista Juggernaut and when I went over to check on him, he was amused that at least three people (not including me) had come over to make sure that he was okay and not feeling left out.
