Yeah St. Louis 1 is my first choice - Smonster do you think it's overkill (npi) for us to tour St Louis 1 officially Monday and you walk us through Lafayette if we still have time/energy? I would absolutely love seeing your restoration work. In fact, I was going to ask you to show me houses you've worked on.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Anyone who is up for a Monday cemetery tour please let me know and I'll make the online reservations. If cost makes you hesitate, you can email me privately and I can likely cover you.
I'm in.
I'm in!
Yay! Jesse, which hotel did you decide on?
I like the Clue event, the cemetery tour. I will happily follow localistas' food and bar suggestions.
I, er, can't find my plane e-ticket inmy email folder. D'oh! If someone be kind and help a bitch out. I think I'm scheduledin NOLA m the 19th - 23rd.
Also, I am willing to put together a list of all of the people that are going to New Orleans: phone numbers, email, hotel, arrival and departure dates, etc.
You can IM me on Facebook or you can email me if you have my email address or phone or text if you have that. Looking forward to this!
Jesse, which hotel did you decide on?
I'm staying at Prytania Park.
Cool! I'm booking the Oaks.
Okay, phew. A lot to catch up on.
First, I want to make sure everyone know that this was not some kind of sooper seekrit that only some Buffistas got invited to; it just sort of happened on FB as a result of a southwest fare sale. If you can swing flight and hotel, come on!
Second, Nora and I were talking about doing this place for dinner Friday - [link] - but is anyone going to be here Friday for dinner? Sounds like a bunch of people are coming in Friday night. I guess Erin's spreadsheet will help with that.
Third, I can't make a tour on Monday because I'll be back at work. I think. Maybe. I can walk y'all through Lafayette on Sat or Sun.
Fourth, Jilli, no gift shop. Are you looking for grave dirt or just graveyard dirt? And do you want it from St. Louis #1? I may be able to help out.
Seriously, there's no one selling graveyard dirt from NOLA's famous cemeteries yet? I sense a niche market begging to be filled.
