So are there any set plans yet for the September 19th weekend in New Orleans? I have a plane ticket (yay!) and a place to stay (my parents!). There's a Saints game that weekend -- are the localistas planning to watch that?

I get to meet Dana! And I am totally down for watching the game! That leaves Monday for a cemetery tour.

SOC is who I was going to recommend. Lower chance of completely made up BS. St. Louis #1 is the oldest cemetery still in existence in the city, and has Marie Laveau and city founders and such in it. Also, as I said before, you can't go in unless you are with a tour group. Lafayette #1 is very close to my house, and if people are interested I can walk you through and show you some tombs I've worked on.

Yeah St. Louis 1 is my first choice - Smonster do you think it's overkill (npi) for us to tour St Louis 1 officially Monday and you walk us through Lafayette if we still have time/energy? I would absolutely love seeing your restoration work. In fact, I was going to ask you to show me houses you've worked on.

I like the Clue event, the cemetery tour. I will happily follow localistas' food and bar suggestions.

I, er, can't find my plane e-ticket inmy email folder. D'oh! If someone be kind and help a bitch out. I think I'm scheduledin NOLA m the 19th - 23rd.

Also, I am willing to put together a list of all of the people that are going to New Orleans: phone numbers, email, hotel, arrival and departure dates, etc.
