They are currently displaying the Magna Freakin' Carta!
Also first Folio Shakespeare and first editions of every major scientific work you can imagine: Galileo, Newton, Darwin, Kepler, Brahe, Copernicus.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Wow. Just wow.
And lovely gardens too!
Dang, a lot going on up there. Might have to take a trip up to Pasadena soon.
If I recall, the science stuff is a permanent exhibit (or at least it's been there for 5 years or so) which is amazing. The first folio is also almost always on display (as is the Gutenberg). The magna carta, though, is probably for the anniversary. So perhaps not a huge rush.
I'm doing a presentation at the Pasadena Library tonight, and Tom folded it into his vacation. We're driving back to SF tomorrow.
Hope it goes well!
I love Huntington Gardens. Haven't been in a couple of years, but I love it.
Hm, I'm thinking that Saturday night dinner might be even easier than Sunday brunch (though Sylvie and I will still be doing that). Would that work better for any Bayistas?
I think dinner would be better for us, but I am currently lacking spoons and may not be able to do anything. Please do keep me in the loop.
I am unlikely to be able to do Saturday, I've got a prior engagement (if I am up to it). Sunday will have to be a game time decision.
Pix I'll get to have a somewhat relaxing and lovely brunch with you 1:1 tomorrow, despite a crushing work deadline. :) Looking forward to it.
I'm in for both.
