My friend C., whom I haven't seen since 2006!, and her husband may want to come to Ethiopian dinner with us. They love that restaurant! Okay with everyone?
Kate, do you think we need a reservation for this many people?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Ethiopian sounds great! Thanks, Gris for hosting dinner, That's wonderful. I'm really excited to see/meet everyone!
We could do the Parthenon Saturday afternoon if you'd be interested in that, Matt. It looks like it closes at 4:30, but it says it generally only takes about 40 minutes to go through. So if you were getting in around 3:00 we could maybe meet over there? What do people think?
What time will Saturday night dinner be? I really only have to drive about four hours that night, so if it wasn't too late, I could probably stick around.
Kate: salad, maybe? A couple of heads or bags of lettuce and some grape tomatoes, maybe, to throw together something simple. I can make dressing. If you can't get to the store today don't worry about it though.

Sounds good to me Liese! Can we trade cell numbers in case I run into any driving delays?

That sounds good to me too!
So excited this is all happening, so sad I can't be there. I want pictures!!

eta: So I bailed on the final day of the conference, because it was all just TOO MUCH, so I'm back in Chapel Hill. What that means is that I am at work (sadness) but I have regular cell and Internet access (happiness!) and I'm not expected to "network" until all hours of the night (GOOD LORD). So I should be able to communicate more regularLY and with more sense-making, at least until I am back on the road tomorrow a.m.
(Edited for grammar--clearly I need to leave work and power sleep before tomorrow. Luckily, my boss agrees.)
I can readily entertain starting around 5:15 tomorrow. My address is on the Google doc. Yay!
We may or may not be able to do the Parthenon, but I am definitely up for dinner on Saturday. Zen, I'll call the restaurant tomorrow and see if we need a reservation.
Can't wait to see you all tomorrow night! Thanks for hosting, Gris!
Oh, by the way, we're supposed to have pretty chilly weather here for the next few days, so be sure to pack warm clothes.
