Parthenon sounds good to me too!
eta: So I bailed on the final day of the conference, because it was all just TOO MUCH, so I'm back in Chapel Hill. What that means is that I am at work (sadness) but I have regular cell and Internet access (happiness!) and I'm not expected to "network" until all hours of the night (GOOD LORD). So I should be able to communicate more regularLY and with more sense-making, at least until I am back on the road tomorrow a.m.
(Edited for grammar--clearly I need to leave work and power sleep before tomorrow. Luckily, my boss agrees.)
I can readily entertain starting around 5:15 tomorrow. My address is on the Google doc. Yay!
We may or may not be able to do the Parthenon, but I am definitely up for dinner on Saturday. Zen, I'll call the restaurant tomorrow and see if we need a reservation.
Can't wait to see you all tomorrow night! Thanks for hosting, Gris!
Oh, by the way, we're supposed to have pretty chilly weather here for the next few days, so be sure to pack warm clothes.
It looks pretty tiny in the photo gallery, so I'm betting reservations would be a good idea.
It is freezing! (I am here. Yay!)
Insent to you, Matt.
Freezing? I'll grab a sweater. Getting ready to shower and hit the road. It's raining like crazy here.
Thanks, Kate! Can't wait to see everyone!
Gris, J. said that your house is about two miles from hers. I'm planning on arriving at 5:30 because that's when she gets off work. Assuming all goes well, traffic-wise, etc., and I get there on time, we may be able to show up earlier than 6:30. Yay!
Awesome! Looking forward to it.
It is cold here today. Hard frosts predicted tonight and tomorrow night. Dress for winter.
I wish I could be there with y'all, although if I ever feel well enough to get to Nashville, my mother may not let met out of her house.
