"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm all for vegan food in L.A. and other places. Do we need to reserve a table, or can we be spontaneous about it?

Speaking of which: for the cookout. Is raw tahini available in the L.A., or is it hard to find? Cause I can work magic with it.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

technically there is no right time to be on the freeway.

If you care about random celebrity sightings Cafe Gratitude is a great place for them.

I can't speak to raw tahini but I'd be surprised if you couldn't find just about anything somewhere in LA.

Not only I don't care for them, I probably wouldn't be able to spot a celebrity if they'll run over me with a name tag. I'm the one who goes "hi, they kinnda look alike, right?" when looking at identical twins.

As for possible SFO meetup - is there a specific place we want to set for meeting? I'm not sure if I'll be able to get online in SF (haven't packed yet, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to bring my mini-laptop in my carry-on bag), and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get a local sim card for my cell phone/a local cell phone before Seattle.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Do you know what terminal you'll be in when you land, or where you'll need to be for your flight to Seattle? We can probably pick a restaurant convenient for one or both of those. I don't know the airport well enough to suggest a meeting place, but I can find restaurants on their website.

I'll be running a 5K in Napa at 9am that morning, so I'm not sure exactly when I can get to SFO, maybe 11ish? Or later if I come home and shower...

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'll confirm it with my travel agent tomorrow (it's the weekend here), but looks like it's terminal 3 for both flights. Looking at their site: [link] post-security means you have to come in and go through it, right? Should I be looking for places outside the terminal? (you can tell I'm not a frequent flyer, can't you).

Good luck with the run! I think you have the time to come back home and take that shower. Even if you'll be an hour later we will still have some time. My flight to Seattle leaves at 13:17.

Right "Post-security" means I would have to go through security to get there, which I don't think I can even do if I want to without a plane ticket. Looks like Pre-security options for Terminal 3 are Peet's, Starbucks, and Subway. At least you can definitely get coffee...it looks like there are more choices at the International Terminal Main Hall food courts. Anything labelled "Pre-Security" is okay with me.

I will plan on showering then! So I can probably meet you noonish, which gives us an hour or so of hanging out. Yay!

Great! I'll check with my agent tomorrow and then we'll decide.

Our wings are not tired.

If Shir's plane to Seattle leaves right after 1, it is likely boarding around 12:35, 12:45 latest. And she will need to back through security and get back to her gate before that.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Shir, SFO has free wifi. There are tech shops inside the terminal where you might be able to get a SIM card but I imagine they would be wildly overpriced.

The International Terminal is definitely better for food options at SFO. It is a short walk (or even shorter air train ride) from Terminal 3, which is next door. SFO is not that big so it's easy to get around.

However, it will be important to keep track of time as Terminal 3 means United and that usually means long security lines. My instinct is that time of day should be okay but one never knows with them.
