I'll be around in May, Shir! I hope to see you while you're here!
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Shir, I updated the Google doc. Basically any weekend except May 31 is good for me. During the week, ND may be able to play chauffeur depending on his work schedule, but we’re both pretty busy. Mon-Fri I am useless.
Thank you!
Sean, it'll be a pleasure to see you too.
Also, for all of you: as a busy person myself, I get the "busy during the week" thing. I'm quite independent when it comes to entertaining myself, explore and understand stuff on my own, and using public transportation. It's also quite likely the previous sentence will get you a bucket full of "Shir's discovering she's not in Kans-- Jerusalem anymore" stories, so really, it'll be a win for all.
Thanks for the info, Kat. Pondering...
Shir! My answers to the spreadsheet haven't changed. Augh Chicago is too far. Any chance you might stop over in NY or Philadelphia?
Hi, can someone send a link to the spreadsheet to my profile addy?
Vortex - insent, thank you.
Laga! East Coast part is still mostly a blur, but I can't imagine not ending up there. Also, I want to see an Afghan Whigs show on the East Coast - there's one in Boston on May 16, and one in Baltimore on May 17. Both sold out, but I'm hanging in the right online places for "can't come, anybody want to buy my tickets?" posts.
Sorry for the slow response. Last week was a mad house. This week, much calmer!
Shir, I've updated the spreadsheet. The usual "monday-friday, work during day, fine in evenings. Weekends should be clear" that most everyone else has. I live near one airport (LGB), and work next to another (SNA), so if you fly into either of those, super happy to pick you up! Also happy to pick you up at the other regional airports (LAX, ONT, BUR (I think that's the code for Burbank/Bob Hope).
I live about a mile from the Willow Street Station on the Metro Blue Line. Sad to say, I have no clue where it goes, I never use mass transit out here. But it should get you up to LA, for adventures up there, where it hooks into the other train lines.
Shir, could you send me the link to the spreadsheet? Profile addy is good.
I'm close to Chicago (3 hours tops) and I'd love to get to meet you F2F. Plus, it's been far too long since I've checked in on the Chicagoistas in person.
Sure, Sail. Thank you.
