Everything but the last chapter is up now. This is good, because I was feeling a definite lack of frantically hitting refresh now that the election is over.
"I am disgusted by the baseless allegation that I am a vegetarian and that my personal eating habits should somehow be construed as opposed to the economic interests of Montana's livestock industry."
Grade-A Crazy, get it while it's fresh!
Roy Brown: I am not and have never been a vegetarian
You know, I would have sworn that was an Onion story, but I guess not.

Ha! I know, right? I'm still checking 538 every two seconds. I'm curious to see if he does a post-mortem of the model, since it did underestimate the electoral vote. I wonder if he became more conservative when the numbers started looking so big.

It was up through Chapter 6 last night (the debates).
I thought McCain came off pretty well, actually. I like him better than I did after the Rolling Stone piece.
I mean, I don't want him as President, but he did have a conscience.
The point where I started rooting for Obama instead of just the Democratic party was his speech in response to the Rev. Wright imbroglio. That was masterful and really gave me a better sense of who he was, and how he would govern.
as NPR said though. In Montana beef country, chicken is considered a vegetable.

Folks - it looks like the big giant hand is feeding the puppies gruel. Looks for a fun, huge mess in moments.

From the little I'm getting from the story, I starting to fell like, despite his age and experience, that he was a bit like Robert Redford's character in 'The Candidate'. It's nice to know that the McCain I liked in 2000 was still around. OTOH, I really don't want a guy who let two campaigns get away from him running the country.

I really like Obama's style, even if I don't agree on everything he wants to do.
As someone who is almost exactly one year younger than Obama (one year and one day, to be exact), I'd call him technically a Baby Boomer chronologically but not one in spirit. The early '60s are a transition period.

If he and the White House had behaved all along as they've behaved during the last 72 hours (or maybe 60 is more accurate), we might be talking about President-Elect McCain.
