I hadn't heard the expression Stealth Date before, and ugh.
Shiny report, Sophia!
Go Baby Boomers! I've heard many ranges applied to the Baby Boom, but all of them include my birth year.
I'm still a bit stunned about my mother not voting for Obama because he was so Young and Inexperienced. I personally remember how enthusiastic she was over Jack Kennedy. I let her know how I felt about that argument.
Sorry about the job nervousness, Kristin. Doesn't help moral in the workplace much.

I am still hoping that the Obama girls will go to public school, as Amy Carter did. Signed, Daughter, Grand-daughter, Great-grand-daughter, etc., of public school teachers who is appalled at the way the US of A has allowed public schools to falter.
I have an appointment at 10 a.m., which meant that I'm still at home. My DH biked the dog into her daycare this a.m. using the new puppy trailer [link]
He just called to say that she settled down for the ride, but he's not sure we won any points with her.

How could a pet not think riding in that is awesome?

On the one hand, yes. On the other hand, I think it may be easier for them personally to be in a school where the students are blasé about political celebrities (Sidwell, Holton, etc).

Well, it was through DC traffic, not a ride in the country. We'll see if she can be persuaded to ever jump in again.

I'm agreeing, but still really hoping for the public school. Secondarily, it would avoid the whole limo-liberal tag.
From the "They say she helps the homeless and doesn't eat meat - we have a problem with her" department:
Roy Brown: I am not and have never been a vegetarian
Republican gubernatorial candidate Roy Brown indignantly denies being a vegetarian and accuses Democrats of promulgating a smear campaign against him:
"I am not and have never been a vegetarian," Brown said. "I am disgusted by the baseless allegation that I am a vegetarian and that my personal eating habits should somehow be construed as opposed to the economic interests of Montana's livestock industry."[Billings Gazette]
Brown admits that he and his family temporarily cut down on meat and dairy products 25 years ago, but only because they were caring for a dying relative who couldn't tolerate these delicacies.
I am still hoping that the Obama girls will go to public school,
Well, they don't go to public school now, so I'm not sure they will in DC, either.
I just started reading that big Newsweek series, and it's really too bad I'm supposed to be working today!
jesse, is there more? Because I was loving what I read earlier this week.
