Just wanted to sneak in thanks to tommyrot and Sheryl for the birthday wishes!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Tnanks, erika. That would be worth tolerating House for.
Happy birthday, CaBil!
Like the local news anchor who looks like molded plastic, but who probably thinks she looks great.
Cindy McCain got a day job?
Another person born in the summer of '61? My big sister.
I wouldn't assume that a person who opts for botox feels like his/her face has been "hideously disfigured" by age. I mean, I've made my peace with my crows feet, but I do understand why a gal might want to soften them for a few months.
ita I can totally understand the anger and frustration at the ER visits occasionally turning inward, but that doesn't make it true.
happy birthday CaBil.
my mom grew up in FLA, her folks had a Cabin in L.A. aka lower alabama aka Redneck Riviera. The cabin was cinderblock --built by my grandfather. a beer can in every hole of the cinderblock - I was told. going there was exotic as a child - it felt like a different world to me. As a kid no judgment - it was just different. I remember at one point my grandparents owned a drive in -- I remember feeding stale bread to the alligators in the pond next door.
Happy birthday, CaBil!
The thing about Cindy McCain is her eyes make her look like a lizard. Was it here that someone posted the blog post on Cindy McCain from The Onion tv? Where did I see that? Pretty funny. Mean but funny.

Gee, neither would I. Which is why I didn't say that.
My misunderstanding then Corwood. I misinterpreted this:
To me, the distasteful thing is the notion that any given group of women in their mid-30s (esp. those who have known each other since high school or earlier) will be so hideously disfigured by age that they will benefit from cosmetic surgery pitches.
Ooh, creepy Criminal Minds. I so called the last word of the episode, though.
That was not unexpected, it's true.
