Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I'm on tenterhooks.....

But really, I want to know about the Props in CA, esp. Prop 8 which I am unsure how it will go down.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

NBC calls New Mexico.

Calls it what?

eta: Oh, good!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Wow. There you go.

And yeah, sarameg, I am just smitten with him. I got a response to every correspondence I have ever aimed at him, in whatever media. And his staff or whoever definitely responded personally in some cases, because they addressed specific points I'd asked or commented about. And then later on, after the vote had hit for whatever hot-button issue I'd asked about, I'd get additional automatic correspondence letting me know how he'd voted on the issue.

I know that's probably just good database management, but as a geek I appreciate that, too.

Furthermore, I just think that Tom Udall is a man of ethics and a genuine statesman. I think your dad will be very pleased with his future interaction with him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know that's probably just good database management, but as a geek I appreciate that, too.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I think is important for elected officials in this day and age. I don't need to think that someone is sitting writing me a personal letter all the time, but I want accurate information that's meaningful to me.
