The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just got clearance to leave work a little so I can watch the debates. Even with that, today is endless.

So, we're driving to Atlanta (70 miles) tomorrow, and all 5 gas stations we've seen today have no gas. I guess the next step is to Google "gas stations athens ga" and start calling around. Hello, 1978!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm happy to report I was able to withdraw money from my WaMu ATM, so I can finally get my haircut!!

Good news indeed.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

why am I getting email from sarah palin?

I have no idea. But, ew. Of all the people unlikely to have a positive reaction to Palin spam, librarians have got to be at the very top of the list.

Amazing news. Congratulations!

There's apparently a local/regional shortage; it's bad in Atlanta, too, which is why we wanted to fill up before leaving.

It's doubly funny because the RVs are rolling into town for the big football game tomorrow night (vs. Alabama, ESPN is on campus all day) and I am sure they all get, like, 4 mpg.
