This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

I've called my local election office and left a message. We'll see if they even get back to me. If I've been purged from the voter rolls at the last minute, I'd rather not bother waiting in line.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

If you've been purged from the rolls at the last minute I hope you're able to take some recourse, because that is Not Okay!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've called my local election office and left a message.

I was going to suggest that, or go to your county board of elections Web site.

t edit Gud, you're in Kansas, right? Try this, through the KS Secretary of State's Web site: [link]

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Whoot! I lost another pound and another percent percent of bodyfat.

And I need a belt.

Can we say whoot? Whoot!

I'm in Missouri, It's the SOS website that tells me I'm not registered. The county's website is worthless, I just hope I'm able to talk to somebody.

I'm in Missouri,

Oops.

It's the SOS website that tells me I'm not registered.

Grrr. (Although I didn't realize canivote.com was through the states' secretary of state offices. Sorry.)

The county's website is worthless, I just hope I'm able to talk to somebody.

Keep calling if they don't get back with you.

Because I thought Gud was in Kansas, I looked up the secretary of state Web site, and I'm sharing it here because the bucolic serenity of it cracks me up: [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is a hilarious picture.

And I need a belt.

Nice!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Gud, that really sucks. I hope it resolves quickly - it makes me sick to my stomach thinking how many people may be facing this kind of thing tomorrow.

Speaking of which, my plans to vote early fell through. How bad are lines supposed to be in Chicago? If I show up when the polls open at 6:00 am, will I be OK?

I should think you'll be okay. The regular polling stations have both electronic and the scantron ballots - which means that lots of people can be voting at the same time instead of one-by-one as with the early voting. Plus a gazillion more polling places too.

I'm planning to get out there early anyway though, and since I have a six a.m. conference call (!) I'll certainly be up.

Also, whoot! Just got a memo that our offices are closing at 3 tomorrow.
