I forgot completely about the time change, so I showed up at my sister's house to run at ... 6:45. Funny, nobody was up yet! So I hung around with the dogs and read the paper until she got up. Happily, the rain held off while we ran (we even saw a rainbow) and then we had pancakes and BACON NOM NOM NOM.
Now I am home and cleaning house because Beth and her DH are coming over for dinner, yay! We shall have yummy food and good wine with our friend T. NOM.
Sadly, there is no way to remove all the dog hair from the house: I think the hairclumps are breeding in the corners. But I shall do my best. Apologies in advance for sending y'all home with tan undercoat sticking to your socks, Beth.
English Breakfast Tea:
Bon Bon, those are fantastic photos! Y'all look wonderful, and your photographer is wonderfully talented.
Bon! You look
so
beautiful, and Bob looks so handsome and (it must be said) philosophical.
Beautiful, Bon! I mena, of course YOU look gorgeous, but also the whole look of your wedding is lovely, The simple dark flowers with the creamy dress is so striking and so elegant.
Thanks for the compliments, guys! I didn't think the photos would mean that much to me, but now that everything else is over, I'm obsessed with getting evidence that it actually happened.
This is cool - this Republican promised to oppose gay marriage, but then changed his mind: Republican mayor of San Diego supports gay marriage
"I have close family members and friends who are a member of the gay and lesbian community. Those folks include my daughter Lisa, as well as members of my personal staff.
"I want for them the same thing that we all want for our loved ones—for each of them to find a mate whom they love deeply and who loves them back; someone with whom they can grow old together and share life’s experiences.
"And I want their relationships to be protected equally under the law. In the end, I couldn’t look any of them in the face and tell them that their relationship—their very lives—were any less meaningful than the marriage I share with my wife Rana.
The simple dark flowers with the creamy dress is so striking and so elegant.
I love the bouquet. The reception looked wonderful too.
Well done, BonBobs!
Stunning photos, bon bon. All the best to you and your husband.
Suela, I could use your help over in the fic thread.
I am really hoping my San Diego County relatives are voting no on Prop. 8, but I'm not so sure -- they are religiously-conservative Democrats for the most part, except for my black-sheep cousin.
