Happy Birthday Emmett!

My tivo hates me: it recorded 16 instead of 160 in the middle of the night so I get no Charlie Jade this week. (I need better stickum for the ir legs.)

I think I may try duct tape.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

If I got up for a 6:30AM teleconference and no one else shows up, I am so very much going back to bed.

Well, going back to bed was my plan anyway. But still.

Happy birthdays!

So, I was looking through the 2008 MacArthur fellows (one of them works here) and I see that Regina Benjamin is one- she is a phenomenal physician that NPR did a lot of coverage on post-Katrina. [link]

Oh, rad! I was wondering about her when I saw the list. I love the ones where you know the grant has the potential to make a huge difference not only in the recipient's life but in many lives.
