Random question: anyone else remember the early days of the Fox channel? When they had that women in prison sitcom?

I remember Fox's real-estate sitcom with Ellen DeGeneres as the office's receptionist. That was early on in Fox's broadcasting history.

It was called Women In Prison. (I didn't know or remember that. Just looked it up.)

I think I might remember that show. I remember a show about waitresses with Ann Jillian, but that may have been pre-Fox.

I just got so unreasonably angry that my work nemisis (while I was on vacation) cleaned out our kitchen, and threw out all of the condiments, tea bags, cocoa, flavored coffees, etc, because it was too cluttered. But what really pushed me over the edge is that there was this box of toothpicks from the 70's there, and I had really, really wanted them. Enough that I went to the department administrator and asked if I could take them, since I was afraid they would be thrown out. The administrator told me that I could not have them because she wasn't sure if they belonged to anyone and she didn't want anyone to get upset with her for letting me have them, but said if anyone was throwing them out, she would tell me.

And I just got so enraged out of all proportion because it just exemplifies the two people who are sort of equal/sort of a little higher... one completely careless of anyone else's needs and one so scared to make any sort of decision in case someone is mad at her! It is so frustrating.

I had a slightly awesome response to my ragetastic work stuff -- I've been kind of thinking I should be able to figure out a way to work around the effers, but finally kicked it upstairs, and now everyone above me is also filled with rage! So it really is them, not me, is the good news.

Wait - not only did this person throw out an awesome toothpick box, but she threw out food? Perfectly good food? Asshat.
