I got an Aeropress last spring, and while I haven't worked out exactly how to get my Perfect Cup yet, I like it. I really only make coffee at home a couple of times a month. I also have a 4-cup brewer I've had for at least a decade. I'll probably give it away next time I'm purging junk from the house.
I do most of my coffee-drinking at work. And it's not very good, but I'm not drinking it for the taste. But I'm trying to cut down and drink more water.
I know this is rough on the economy [link] but I have to good. As a nation we consume too much. We need to shift our economy and I really hope that we can make that shift without things getting too dire in the next couple of years.

I should perhaps have also noted that my sister also does not have any coffee in the house, and the closest starbucks is a 20 minute walk.
Which I am now going to undertake.
Posted over at Smart Bitches this morning, I can't stop watching it and it makes me laugh, every. single. time.

Krugman is also talking about the consumer spending numbers today: [link] I think it is going to be rough for a while, no matter how the shift is managed, but I like his brand of thinky.

Once again, this is in Russia. I went back to the other post of Hammer pants, and the comments were mostly positive. I fear for society.
Dear Consumers:
Please do not spend your precious dollars on Hammer pants!
