Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

Happy birthday, Daniel! Happy anniversary, Jilli and Pete!

Happy Halloween! I really want to be in a country that celebrates Halloween on that day one time, just to see how it's like.

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Happy Batversary to the Reasons!

Morning Jake Update, I came down to give him morning treats. He came out and ate them from my hand, and even gave me a little headbutt. He did start growling a few treats in, but I think he may have some kind of food issues. Everything was pretty good until Clio scratched at the door to the basement, which was Jake's cue to hiss and retreat. I think tonight I will have them switch places, and let Jake explore teh rest of the house.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks for nothing, guys. Where were you when I needed you? I really didn't want to go to the ER.

Nonetheless, happy birthday DCJ, and happy anniversary to to the House of Reason.

Librarian Warlord

Does anyone know how old the puppies are?

The blurb on the main site says they were 3 weeks old on the 28th.

Happy Halloween!

My sister does not own a coffee maker.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My sister does not own a coffee maker.

Even before I drank coffee, I owned a tiny, automatic drip machine for guests, mostly because my parents drank coffee.

I'm having some premium Valencia OJ this morning and boy does it taste yummy.

I don't have a coffeemaker, but I have a drip cone and filters, and a stovetop percolater. Both of which make enough mess that I really need to have coffee to make coffee. And frankly, I live a five minute walk from a mall that has at least three coffee places in it, so I usually get coffee from there.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I went back to the cone and electric kettle method a few years ago (I think on JessiMoon's recommendation?) and I still love it. If I could afford a new fancy-schmancy espresso machine like I used to have that might be tempting, but I have no desire for a usual drip maker.
