Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Also: does anyone still watch ER? I vaguely remember Ray, but what happened to him? To the legs, but generally?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Maybe I'd need some bacon.

Yeah, I don't do bacon. No mammal meat is my motto. this sentence brought to you by the letter M!

billytea, that is weird.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Brenda: A few seasons ago, he was in love with Neela. There was a whole long back-and-forth thing between them. He saw her with another guy and got really drunk. She realized she had to make a decision. We saw him staggering out of a bar, then cut to her sending him a text message. He gets the message, grins, and then gets hit by a truck.

Today, in the two blocks between my office and my apartment, I saw three cars with Virginia plates and Obama stickers.

Eunoia is the shortest word in English containing all five vowels - and it means "beautiful thinking". It is also the title of Canadian poet Christian Bok's book of fiction in which each chapter uses only one vowel.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Eunoia is so pretty! That would make a great kid name for one of those cruel but adventurous namers. IOW, not me.

I got coffee time with Kristin, though most of my time was spent wrangling a grubby baby.

I'm gonna get all of your saramegs in late November. Pthbbbt!

Now I'm catching up on the interwebs.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Next week on ER... hunh?!

So, eunoiay where you're kind of stabbing at good thinking but maybe not all the way there? Because I can't let go of the "sometimes Y."

Hah, and I get a whole bunches of people!

One of the german words I loved for a name beyond anything I can explain was Ihnen. Unfortunately, it means "them" which would be mean. But I love the sound of it (EEN-nehn.) There were a few other german and french ones I disremember.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Noah? Grubby? Unpossible.

I had a brief sadistic urge to name kids of mine names that mean the same thing as my name. Luckily moot.

I am so trying to convince myself not to go to the ER. I was just there!
