Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

hip deep in pie

Well he wasn't happy when I took his water upstairs to get a fresh bowl. I hope he's not going to have food jealousy issues. But he's slurping away now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

God, I love Barack Obama now. t /watching last night's Daily Show

He looks so tired, but still so engaged, and still having fun, which I think is impressive at this stage in the game.

I think Loki is trying to play with Devi. He keeps knocking the pink mouse under the door to her.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I wish I'd seen his interview on Rachel Maddow's show. The exerpts David Gregory and Kieth showed he seemed surprisingly relaxed.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hello big kitteh!

I'm having anxiety attacks. I went shopping for comfort food and came home with a lot of cheese, some chocolate and I think I need more liquor.

I think I could get through fucking anything with sufficient cheese, chocolate, and liquor. Maybe I'd need some bacon. Otherwise, bring on the apocalypse.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Jake has coloring like Rosie and size more like Petri. It took lots of time and patience (and certainly some stress) to earn trust with Rosie & Gilda, but I don't regret it at all. They're cuddlebugs now.

I was halfway through making an omelette tonight when I discovered I had no cheese. Woe!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This is a weird question, but it's been on my mind lately. F, C, M:

Obama wins Indiana
Obama wins Missouri
Obama wins North Carolina

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Easy.

Also: does anyone still watch ER? I vaguely remember Ray, but what happened to him? To the legs, but generally?
