Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

OMG, he DOES look a bit like Jesse & lisah's cats! Big plushy orangeboy!

He looks just like my cat!

Does your cat live under a chair?

He does not. Although he spends a fair amount of time under the baker's rack in the kitchen.

Aw, cute Homer. I love orange cats.

I wish I had that picture online that I have of Homer on Jesse's lap, looking like he owns the world. He really looks like Jake in that picture. As does lisah's Uncle Bud in the drawer.

Loki is a happy nipper. He doesn't bite hard, but his teeth are new and sharp. He starts nuzzling your face, in the throes of a purrfest, and then slowly (thank god) goes for your nose, jawline, chin or lips, mouthing at first.

I've only had one other happy-nipper, and that was my dad's burmese cat Kitten. Even at 18 months,I'd pet him holding my hand over my nose. See, when Kitten got totally blissful (and he was an easily blissed cat,) his already-crossed eyes would cross further and he'd LUNGE at your face, firmly anchoring your nose in his mouth. Never drew blood, didn't hurt too much, but lord, it was startling.

I'm noticing that Jake is more trusting of me when I am quiet. He starts to growl when I talk. He's once again out from under the chair, for now.

Well he wasn't happy when I took his water upstairs to get a fresh bowl. I hope he's not going to have food jealousy issues. But he's slurping away now.
