Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I hope I'm not too late to say happy birthday aurelia!

Faboo pumpkin, Cash. Nice way to show your colors.

Busy day today, esp for DH. He helped his mom move all now, now he's helping his cousins move.

I have a neurotic question. We applied for absentee ballots about 2 weeks ago but they haven't arrived yet. Obviously not going to arrive before election day, right? So can we still go to the polls and vote?

Oo, just read Beep Me. Very cool news, Allyson! And to you too Corwood. I'd be tempted to go if it weren't for these pesky kids.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Not too late at all, Burrell!

You should call your election board or look it up on line. You can probably go to one of their offices to pick up an absentee ballot. It's possible you'll have to vote on the spot though. I don't know any details about how CA handles that.

We're no longer number 1!

Crap. Sore throat, clogged ears, coughing. Last time I had a sore throat this bad, it turned into a winter full of recurring tonsillitis. Really can't afford that this year.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

There are protestors and counter-protestors at the corner two blocks from my house, people waving Yes on 8 and No on 8 signs. They've been there a couple nights a week for the last few weeks. They were there at 7:30 and at 9:30 tonight.

But now it's 10:45 and they're still there, with the yelling and the horns.

Don't they have to go to bed soon, too?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

There's a fruit stand near my office that has pomegranates right now, so it's pretty common to see people snacking on the seeds during the day here.

Personally I prefer my midafternoon snacks to contain more chocolate, but to each their own.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yes, I'm afraid they are.

I'm also really impressed by people who can eat pomegranates in the office! I always make a mess.

They CANNOT come back.

This morning I emailed someone on Kijiji about their cat that they are giving away. A very cute orange cat.
