Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

history of failure

Pfft. Amateur losers. Newb losers. As losers, they are babes in the woods. The Phils are bigger losers than anyone ever!!

Wait, that didn't come out right, somehow.

mac threw a fit about ending video games and starting bedtime prep, part of my "bossy mommy" problem, according to him. After about 5 min I tried a new attack, Fine, stay up, but then you have to do chores.

toys are picked up
I packed to boxes two mail
muffins are made for breakfast
dishes are washed
some are dried and put away
his snack for tomorrow is packed
his bookbag is packed
clothes in the livingroom and bathroom are put away
my lunch for tomorrow is packed
lemonade got made
my dinner for tomorrow night is made
veggie bin in fridge is cleaned out
trash is taken out
Halloween candy to date has been put away
kitchen table, counters, and some of the floor have been wiped
groceries are put away

AMAZING. still I may very well have a grumptastic boy in the morning, it may be worth it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, ex-A, Joe Blanton not only pitches beautifully in the win, he gets the first home run by a pitcher in the World Series since 1974 -- when A's pitcher Ken Holtzman hit one. Sweeeet!

Our wings are not tired.

I don't often talk about baseball in here, because it's like talking about my heart and it feels weird. I'm a SF Giants fan, and that's an under-statement. Anyway, some of you know that Jimmy Rollins (and Dontrelle Willis and Willie Stargell) went to my high school, and I date a Philly guy. So I am thrilled beyond all thrilled with this World Series.

Yeah, Blanton's shot was a lovely thing for a guy who basically didn't hit until a couple of months ago.

Man. Hell of a game. They really broke out in this one -- last night's ending was kind of hilariously weird, but they shouldn't have been there in the bottom of the 9th to begin with. Tonight was a completely different way to win, and in 30mumble years of following this team, they've sometimes had one, but they've very rarely been able to do both.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Thanks for the wishes, guys! We are finally alone in what is apparently this business hotel's version of the honeymoon suite (a king with a hot tub in the room) and Mr bon is grading while I am catching up on the internet.
