was surprised going from Interview (which was very densely written, languid and sensual) to Lestat (which flies along like any old airport read).
Yes, this. It was hard to grasp they were the same writer.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Oh! I just remembered I forgot to thank you for your Muppet links and talk: it reminded me to get a healthy doze of Muppet seasons before university starts.
You see, for me, The Muppets is the ideal society: a bunch of outcast weirdos that even if they don't get along, they'll do anything to help each other in the end of the day, and put a show every night.
In my world, that's kind of a miracle.
It gives me hope.
Cry to heaven was one of those books that I found really interesting, bu tI found my self skipping the sex scenes -- as in 'oh no not another".
Kat! Apple Pan?
Sure!! Around 3:00 PM work for you?
YAY! Kat P will be in the area!
msbelle, the Twilight books are so much worse. But so much more fun to mock.
Umm, what?
Huh. So far I haven't seen anything about this in US media.
ION, for Halloween, a three-headed Chihuahua: [link]
I like how one of the extra heads has its mouth closed, while the other extra head is open, revealing huge pointy canines.
Yikes, Shir. I hope that's not true, for any number of reasons.
It's on every channel and news site here. In red, big letters.
Crossing fingers the Syrians just... got confused?
Brenda, loved the Lucy update. Hate that she's frustrated, but glad that it's motivating her to start figuring things out.
So far, I've been to the store (again), come home, made chili (house smells like cumin and tomatoes and cinnamon and anise and rum), cleaned and changed the catbox, am contemplating leaving the trashbag with the dirty litter hanging on Nate's door and in a minute, I'll get up and make cornbread.
This is the most I've done on my ankle in a week. I can't decide how much it hurts. I think I'll figure it out after I'm done doing stuff and can put it up.
I just got a news alert from MSNBC on the Syrian raid.
Still sending vibes to Lucy. It is tough, but she sounds determined. No doubt her memory of the difficult transition will be shorter than yours, Brenda.
