I had pneumonia last spring, and the two major symptoms are a high fever and a persistent cough without congestion. Chest pain and shortness of breath are also indicators. You probably just have a cold, but don't put off going to the doctor if you think you might have pneumonia symptoms.
Thanks for the warning, Kristin. I have a persistent cough, but it's almost definitely due to post-nasal drip and congestion. If the cough and chest pain don't go away when the phlegm finally does, I'll go to a doctor.

Gronk. I seem to still be dehydrated for no good reason. I keep drinking water, and I still feel like crap. And my DVD player is broken, so I can't even distract myself with movies.

That's my guess. My glucose levels have been tested, and have always been normal, but I'm scheduled for a glucose tolerance test next week. Also, my apartment is really overheated this weekend, so that's not helping with the dehydration, but it's not hot enough in here for that to totally explain it.

In meme news, my neighbors are having a GIANT party that features a lot of traditional Mexican folk music.
