Whoa! I... I think I'm having a thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a thought. Now I'm having a plan. Now I'm having a wiggins.

hip deep in pie

The ingenuity of government workers, or something: about a month ago we had a leak at work just outside my cubicle. When they took down the ceiling tiles, we discovered this: [link]

Yes, that's a vintage Lime Crush can, circa 1980. Apparently they put them up there to catch drips from whatever they used to seal the pipes. Someone told me that there are a lot of them hidden in the ceiling. Craxy!

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I believe in 2000, when John Ashcroft lost to a corpse, they treated it as if he died in office. (The dead Dem, not Ashcroft.)

Yes, I am one who voted for the corpse.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

A quick hello from San Diego!

Always Anti-fascist!

So would I. I mean, it's Ashcroft. And I understand, pre-corpse, that man was exceedingly lovable in the manner of Harry Mitchell or somebody. And, yeah, JZ, I usually find him pretty fricking cute. Except for Special Comments, which make me wibble.(Partly the delivery and partly because anyone on TV who can drive me to look up a word gets a little piece of my heart. As fetishistic as that sounds.)

The government just seized WaMu and sold it to J.P. Morgan. They usually wait until Friday evening to do that sort of thing.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Damn you Chase Manhattan!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

What I really want to know is, what's going to happen to regular schlubs like us? Am I going to like, lose my home and have to dig for roots in the concrete for soup?

Only half joking.

Yeah, I used to only want to move back to France for political reasons.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Am I going to like, lose my home and have to dig for roots in the concrete for soup?

I wish I had a root and a husband. To eat when we all have to resort to cannibalism to survive the impending financapocalypse.

Ha! Mets board is going nuts with late, unlikely win by Carlos Voltron! I think Voltron Mets shirts will sweep the tri-state area.

Speaking of spanky new shirts, came home from long commute to find two t-shirts for Emmett and myself. Our special, limited edition 24 Memorial Shirts (from Venture Brothers, nothing Kiefer related).

We put them on, and picked up Matilda (JZ retired to an early sickbed) and danced around the kitchen while singing along to songs off YouTube. It's the American way.

Songs cavorted to at Chez Zmayhem tonight:

"Crazy" - Gnarls Barkley
"Viva La Vida" - Coldplay
"Bohemian Rhapsody" - Queen
"Sweet Dreams" - Eurythmics
"Run" - Gnarls Barkley

Fun was had, wish you were here.
