"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Am I going to like, lose my home and have to dig for roots in the concrete for soup?

I wish I had a root and a husband. To eat when we all have to resort to cannibalism to survive the impending financapocalypse.

Ha! Mets board is going nuts with late, unlikely win by Carlos Voltron! I think Voltron Mets shirts will sweep the tri-state area.

Speaking of spanky new shirts, came home from long commute to find two t-shirts for Emmett and myself. Our special, limited edition 24 Memorial Shirts (from Venture Brothers, nothing Kiefer related).

We put them on, and picked up Matilda (JZ retired to an early sickbed) and danced around the kitchen while singing along to songs off YouTube. It's the American way.

Songs cavorted to at Chez Zmayhem tonight:

"Crazy" - Gnarls Barkley
"Viva La Vida" - Coldplay
"Bohemian Rhapsody" - Queen
"Sweet Dreams" - Eurythmics
"Run" - Gnarls Barkley

Fun was had, wish you were here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

On a day when a Tylenol ad makes me sniffly I watch 2 hours of Grey's Anatomy and the big hyped one-of-them-dies (I at least hope the actor wanted to go--bruthas need work) er season premiere? It's possible that I'm not the most emotionally sensible of people.

I do need someone to take care of me. Shame I'd never let them.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I liked GA! At least more than last season.

It was good. But all the scenes with stitches, made me irrationally wobbly. And I can't keep but wondering if I should have asked for a plastic surgeon for my facial lacerations. But that's silly and water under the bridge.

Swouncing

So, it's an internet miracle, just in honor of today's Buffista Calendar's birthday. I didn't have any internet for the past few days (pretty much their birthday present to me, since it started somewhen then - it was a whole mess apparently all over the place around here, not just a my-computer issue). And when did the connection return? Just in time to skip and wish Matilda a happy second birthday.

Happy birthday, almost-not-a-baby girl! I hope you and all your family have a great day and a wonderful year together!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Happy Birthday, Matilda!

This is pretty awesome (it's a Dark Knight/Bush address mashup):

I just watched the "Pollo Loco" episode of Dark Angel, and whoa. I guess I can stop stopping by SiTV to see what's happening with the pretty when I'm up late. I can't believe they killed the cutie.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy birthday Matilda!

I can't believe how fast the time passes.
