I am so sleepy. This is ridiculous. I should be over my weekend o' debauchery and accompanying plane rides by now! But no, I was on a date tonight, and yawning through the whole darn thing.

In related news, I feel like this girl and I are probably pretty compatible, and have fun, but not when we're trying to be on a date and shit. Not sure how to handle that. Argh.

Meanwhile, weird drama continues to swirl. Not in a way that I necessarily care about, more in a way that makes me roll my eyes and go "Oh come ON, people, are you KIDDING me?!", but...who sends an invitation for a birthday party (a 30th birthday party!) the NIGHT BEFORE?!?!?! Either you're doing very poor planning *OR* you are only just now inviting *me*. Which hints that there is some kind of ridiculous drama about inviting me that I don't know anything about. Which I raise my eyebrow at. Again, WTF people.

I'm sorry about the work stuff, Allyson. When you're an 85 year old, world famous, multi-prize winning author, your memoirs are going to make the children of your current bosses sob like newly orphaned 4 year olds with skinned knees.

Check this out: Michele Bachmann, the one who said the media should investigate Congress to find which member are anti-American, has just lost all RNCC funding. Before her comments, she was looking at a comfortable victory. Now they've given up on her. [link]

ETA: it gets more interesting. Apparently the Family Research Council, a social conservative organisation, is advising its members to withhold donations from the RNCC unless they reverse their decision and support Bachmann. [link]
