Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

Yeah, it's always had conservative endorsements. It's (what's left of) Wm. Randolph Hearst's politics.

Ah. Okay. I couldn't remember.

Speaking of local restaurants, LTH Forum is the board's whose F2F I'm going to tomorrow, and they've got a wonderful list of Great Neighborhood Restaurants. Chaihanna, the Uzbek place I'm going to, is being nominated for the new edition of the list, and I hope it makes it (I'll be voting for it!). That's where I got the Polish place to take MFNLaw to earlier this year (Podhalanka on Division--I'm hoping I can take my nephew there sometime this semester).

Man, those all sound great! I definitely need to go out for more than a weekend next time.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yes you do.

And it doesn't list a place that ChiKat and I went to a few years ago that I want to return to--Carthage Cafe, a Tunisian place on Foster. I want to try some more of the meat-and-veggie dishes next time. I had ejja, which was a great meal, and ChiKat had some hummus and lamb chops.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm excited to have Ethiopian food for dinner tonight, myself.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Brenda's French Soul Food

Man, I'd've thought you'd be first in line! I stopped in there last week on my way back to work from the DMV, and I can attest as to tastiness.

Now I want biscuits. OMNOMNOMNOM.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Brenda's French Soul Food

I dislike the name of this restaurant. Soul Food is distinct from cajun food is distinct from creole food is distinct from French food.

I can't remember, is the Examiner the conservative paper in town? We have an Examiner here and it is run by a total nutjob.

I saw that on MUNI this morning and did a double-take until I realized it was The Examiner.
