For Hec: Monster band tiki-mugs
Vern sez, "I've been a fan of both the Polynesian tiki scene, and the bubblegum music scene, which often featured studio musicians providing the music for a cartoon band. Those two worlds intersect with a new set of mugs from Tiki Farm - Rigor Morty and the Dirt Nappers. I just received my set, in time for Halloween, and they are sweet. The tallest mug is 9 inches tall. As the Tiki Farm website says - pour yourself a zombie .... in a zombie!"

Now I want a tiki farm with little ones in the front and some big ol' ones in the back rows. With maybe a totem pole or two.

Not personally, though I know his work from Tiki News where we both published.
Brenda, I think that, in order to vote in person, your brother needs (1) photo ID to prove he is who he says he is (name-wise), and (2) an "official" document to prove that he lives where he says he lives. The IRS thing, or a bank statement (which he could probably print from the bank's Web site) would work.
In case anyone thinks most of the post911 airport security stuff is anything but Kabuki theater:

Hec, we used to go to Kahiki in Columbus (before they tore it down and put up a Walgreens!)

tommyrot - I sometimes sneeze when I go from a warm to a cold place or vice versa.
Yesterday, I got notice of a second benefits choice period for state employees. Yes, starting January 1st ALL our deductables and co-pays are going up. (My dental deductable is going up 25%.) And I'm going from having no deductable on my prescriptions to having a $50.00 and all the meds are going up.
I'm feeling broker without actually going out and having the fun of spending the money.
Health insurance sucks. My new prescription isn't covered at all, so it's about $160 a month.
Whatever happened to Harry and Louise? I hope they lost their health insurance. Sure, they're fictional, but they should be made to suffer....

There was much wailing in the tikiverse when the Kahiki came down.
Reminds me that juliana and I have a tentative date to go over to Alameda and check out Forbidden Island.
