Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Not that I noticed. More's the pity.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sorry, Matt -- if he did, the cameras weren't looking in the right direction. And baseball looks so very nice in HD....

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

From what I've read here, I'm glad I didn't watch the debate.

I think if I'm smart, I'll go to bed soon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Very cute babies. Fickr wants me to upgrade my Flash for Opera but works just fine in Firefox.

Question for gamers: Is Far Cry 2 un-PC? For some reason it's actually looking appealing to me, and if I end up with a PS3 as a Blu Ray player, I could maybe play games. How do people handle setups with VCRs, DVRs, DVD players, and one or more game consoles? Plus straight up cable, just in case?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How do people handle setups with VCRs, DVRs, DVD players, and one or more game consoles?

Uhm...I have Laura do it for me.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've got a DVD/VCR combo, so that's one input. Tivo is a second. Then my TV has a third input on the front, and I switch back and forth between the PlayStation and the Wii on that one.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hooray for Gracie dimples and Noah giggles!

Looong day. Tomorrow won't be any shorter and my ears and throat are starting to hurt. Oy.

I'm pathetic.

And I miss my cats.

“Not dead yet!”

Cutiehed babies and Noah's giggle should be bottled and sold for medicinal purposes.

Oy, it's been a crap week, in a First World issues sort of way. I've been reminded yet again why eighth grade boys are the debbil (one picked on Nate yesterday just because he could, the little shitweasel) and a writing contest that I'm the chair of has had one of the categories implode because the coordinator is an idiot and another category nearly implode because the editor who was supposed to judge the final entries has completely flaked out and isn't returning emails.

Which has made writing not so much with the happening this week.

And this morning, I get to schlep two large dogs and a cranky cat to the vet for annuals. You'll have to excuse me while I go tighten the laces on my diamond-soled shoes.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's so much more comforting to read the debate-watch here than watch the actual debate. Me, I watched Pushing Daisies (the episode was good as last season!) and crashed into unconsciousness slightly thereafter....
