Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Need to do a couple of things, then I head to the airport. Whee!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Don't you think he looks tired?

The last thing that made me smile was Dylan saying "Byebye!" to me this morning when I left for work. He's starting to "get" non-noun parts of speech and it is so fucking cool!!!! (Like, this morning when I picked him up to give him a hug but he wanted to be running around with his musical toothbrush and he said "DOWN!" Awesome!)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Dude, I woke up and got my ass to work by 7:50 for an 8:00 meeting that yesterday afternoon got changed to 8:30 and I didn't notice. Well, poop.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Slacktivist made me smile: NEW YORK -- Mets manager Jerry Manuel announced Wednesday night that, due to the urgency and gravity of the financial crisis on Wall Street, the New York Mets will be suspending their pennant race. "This is just too important," Manuel said. "It's time to put country first."

Pretty much ready to go. Apartment still a mess. Oh well.

Cats are going nuts. Managed to turn off the modem once already, bouncing around like lunatics.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Have a great trip!

I hope to!

The weather here is supposed to go to shit just before my flight leaves. Great.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Bon voyage, sarameg!

It's worth it to look up David Letterman's reaction to John McCain cancelling on him, especially when he finds out during the taping that McCain is in fact still in NYC being interviewed by Katie Couric... and that McCain evidently lied about it to him over the phone.

I should actually try to find the entire show online, evidently his substitute guest was Keith Olbermann!
