After 8 years of Bush not only do I have a ton of practical reasons for wanting Obama to be elected president, I have a serious aesthetic one, too. I dislike Bush's voice, and McCain's is not much better. (I'm not even gonna think about Palin giving the SotU address.) It would be so nice to have a president in office whose voice doesn't make me turn off the TV and resign myself to reading the transcripts the next day.
