After 8 years of Bush not only do I have a ton of practical reasons for wanting Obama to be elected president, I have a serious aesthetic one, too. I dislike Bush's voice, and McCain's is not much better. (I'm not even gonna think about Palin giving the SotU address.) It would be so nice to have a president in office whose voice doesn't make me turn off the TV and resign myself to reading the transcripts the next day.

I think it may be worse -- whiny and sibillant to Bush's dumb as a rock. Obama, otoh, could have an excellent phone sex career after he retires.
Have we ever heard anyone at an Obama or Biden rally yelling "Kill him" when referring to McCain?

Ok, I admit to complete bias, but it seems like McCain is doing much worse this time than the previous. Besides the blinking he just seems more out of control.
