Was there an epidemic of babies being eaten by snakes in the early 1900s?
RARE Antique BETTERBABY Bed BABY CRIB Cage SNAKE PROOF
I'd have to look it up, but think this is just about the weirdest baby-related item I've ever seen, and it was made right here in Ohio a long, long time ago - 1914 - 1916. (We've always been rather resourceful here in Ohio as far as keeping snakes and bugs and wild hogs away from our babies.)
What it actually is, is a baby cage, but I'm sure that's not the way it was originally marketed.
Why does it show that Bloc Québécois got more seats, but a smaller popular vote than the NDP?
I am afraid that watching the debates tonight will make me crazy. OTOH, I am hoping that Obama doesn't sit back on his poll numbers. I want him to be really, really good. And I'd like McCain to be good also - but I'm afraid that he's going to go the scare-tactics route. Which I don't need.
I was an idiot and came to work. Going to be talking to the vet today.
How is MK doing today, sarameg?
sara, go home if you are feeling really agitated about not being there. Hope vet has good news today. Did he see Dr. Berry?
(hah! And just googling because I couldn't remember if it is Dr. Barry or Berry I came across a Best Of for our vet that mentions my friend's dog Jimmie Dean. I imagine the piece was written by my friend's husband's ex-fiance. This is a very small town.)
Poor Mr. Kitty....
Senator, you've made healthcare one of the key items of your campaign. What would your administration do to insure the health of Mr. Kitty?
I am voting NO on the debates tonight. I need to go to bed as soon as mac is asleep. I stayed up way too late last night and now have 2 days of gronk compounded.
I had my first oatmeal of the fall (can't eat it in hot weather) - 1 packet is not enough - grrr - so along with a re-focus on bringing food from home, and an attempt to eat less processed food, I guess I'll also start trying to reduce portions sizes until I can be full on less.
Poor Sarameg. Poor Mr. Kitty.
Tommy's right. Who is going to stand up for the millions of uninsured pets?
Dr. Everheart. He was still restless this morning. Will eat wet food, but not touching the dry.
