Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Mmm, potatoes and warm raclette!

Okay WRT apples, I've been told that West Coast apples don't hold a candle to East Coast, which makes me sad but given that apples have never been my favorite fruit I have no problem believing it. My current favorite apple is the honey crisp. Mmmm.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I like the macintosh apples and their near relatives--paula reds. Cortlands, Winesaps and jonathans are also tasty.

I can do Golden Delicious or Galas in a pinch.

Pink Lady

YES! With EXTRA-sharp cheddar. Just sharp cheddar is blandola to me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The plastic cheese grilled cheese sandwich is a distinct (and delicious) category from all other grilled cheese sandwiches. They're all delicious, but I think they fill separate dietary and emotional needs than fancy cheeses and good breads grilled up in the same way.

What is bagna cauda?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I think Jesse's a cheese flip-flopper.

Cheese waffler. Please.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What is bagna cauda?

It means "no worries"...

It's a kind of hot garlic/anchovy/olive oil dip. Sometimes also butter and cream. It's served like fondue, with assorted veg and bread dipped in. It's teh yum, although it could be dangerous if you're planning to kiss anyone who didn't share it with you.

You all are making me want cheese and apples, both of which I have, but at home, and I am working until 6 tonight!

I have nice sharp Vermont cheddar and picked-Saturday-by-me Winesaps and Cortlands.

Casper calls cheap cheddar "orange cheese" too, and doesn't like to good stuff, happily for me.
