I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Whoo hoo CT, my home state! The list of states I can live in keeps growing!

I had a very similar thought about how I could get married there, now! I insist on getting gay-married to my future male spouse!! Luckily, I am from MA and would probably get married there no matter what.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

we got married in Vermont before gay marriage was cool and Vermont's civil unions were still perfectly groovy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What are people doing this weekend?

I'm getting my hair cut and doing laundry and trying really really hard not to help any one or answer any questions.

Punishingly Intricate

What are people doing this weekend?

Tonight carbing up w/ whole wheat pasta and roasted butternut squash, going to bed early, getting up early, walking (and a little running) 13.1 miles, collapsing, napping, having delicious French dinner. Sunday is lounging, yoga, and then babysitting twinses so their people can go to a play.

information libertarian

Going camping, I think, to Pisgah National forest, and apple-picking in Hendersonville NC. It is our first time camping with kids. We may yet chicken out and not go (only planning one night...)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Russian biker busted for driving a non street legal bathtub.

Yes, the guy is sitting in the tub that's filled with soapy water while he drives it. And yes, he appears to be naked.

“Not dead yet!”

Okey doke. I have taken this partial down from 7265 words to 5030.

Agent Kate's description of having taken a hacksaw to it was rather apt. I did take almost all of her suggestions-- now I hope I haven't lost any of the voice or flavor that (hopefully) makes it unique.

Now, I let it rest for a bit, go back, read, and decide if I hate this story or not. If I go with "not" then I get to start adding.

What are people doing this weekend?

Probably writing. However, right now I'm going to send the sliced and diced MS to Agent Kate and probably take the munchkins to the rec center since it's finally not raining.

I'm feeling both vaguely restless and like all I want to do is be a slug. These things are counterintuitive to each other. I need to figure out what to do.

Well I'll be darned, my company's stock finished with up a pretty good amount on twice normal volume.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My most exciting plan for the weekend is dinner tomorrow night with a friend from grad school who is back in the US briefly from Moldova! Otherwise, standard stuff like laundry, housecleaning, and then an Arbonne party at my coworker's. I feel like I should actually clean the house before I go out of town next week. Yay vacation!!!!
