The status is NOT quo.

No need to worry about hijacking, msbelle. Truly. Panic attacks are awful. I'm glad the breathing is helping.

Honey. When you need, it isn't hijack, sweetie.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, I count my breathing, that sometimes helps.

Yeah, what they said (about the use of thread, though the counting sounds right, too...)

“Not dead yet!”

Aw, belle, I'm sorry about the anxiety-- don't have any advice unfortunately, but I hope that some of the suggestions are helping.

I have broken up with CSI, but I want to see them grieve for Warrick. Except I have Supernatural and Grey's in that slot.

I've decided to record SPN and CSI and watch Grey's on ABC.com later.

MC: But no cold sweats in the middle of the night?

CM: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. My husband, he’d be the first one to tell you that he was trained to do what he was doing. The guys who had the trouble were the 18-year-olds who were drafted. He was trained, he went to the Naval Academy, he was a trained United States naval officer, and so he knew what he was doing.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just ran across this story. It's kinda perfect.

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Sarah Palin and her bid to be a heartbeat away from being President.

The old rancher said, "Well, ya know, Palin is a post turtle."

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was.

The old rancher said, "When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle."

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain.

"You know she didn't get up there by herself, she doesn't belong up there, she doesn't know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put her up there to begin with."
