Always Anti-fascist!

He could take on her and the First Dude at the same time and never even sweat. Hell, so could I, and I'm no Dark Master (de) bater. I'm excited. Cause I bet tonight I get to learn the Ivy League for "punk-ass bitch," cause KO is putting it together *right now* and it(will be) FG. Of course he will use more words than that. A map. And some Churchill for added wonkishness. Or maybe some called ballgame from 1927(it's Keith, after all)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Enquirer just went live with their Palin affair story. Maybe that's why they want a time-out from being out on the trail?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Which Palin?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ms. Palin.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

You know, if Obama had proposed postponing the debate, Norquist would be criticizing him as obviously wanting a time out.

That's the level of bullshit these people are putting out. It doesn't matter what the merits of any given proposal is, as long as Obama is for it, they'll tear it down as fast as they can. No matter if it was something they were all for last week.

Art Crawl!!!

Huh. Maybe. I like the blinking "breaking news" thing.

ETA: I hear though that the story was on the paper edition last week. So, what is breaking news?

I think an economic depression is likely if the bailout doesn't go through. And that a complete collapse is likely if it does go through. The longer we stagger on as if everything's normal, the harder it's going to hurt when we finally fall down.

So I'm really hoping for a depression.

From an article at Forbes

"Choking up of credit is like taking the lifeblood away from the economy," [Fed Reserve Chairman] Bernanke said.

This pretty well sums up the problem.

So I skimmed the Enquirer thing. Looks like three members of the affair-guy's family swear it happened. But no smoking gun, right?

One of the family members did pass a polygraph test, which maybe means something....

Coding and Sleeping

It's the Enquirer, I'm not buying it. Yeah, they got the goods on Edwards, but that doesn't make me take them seriously.

Strega, why do you think things will be worse if the bailout does happen? (I'm not an expert on these things.)

eta: So if the bailout happens, everyone will just get into more debt?
