Punishingly Intricate

It's almost like they think it's a personal insult that I'm asking them to think linearly

Right?! Sheesh. And I'm not even asking them to write (that's my job) just EXPLAIN things to me!

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, duh, if you don't understand the steps, how can you write them right? No wonder manuals often suck.

Yay! That reminds me I have to go up there tonight for food.

Yay for clipped Loki being fine!!

I remember how pathetic Amarna was after getting fixed--being a girl cat, it took her a little time to recover. She would walk around the apartment and try and scratch her scratching post, but only manage to get one paw halfway before you could almost see the wince and she would put it back on the floor. She took over my body pillow I had laying on the floor next to my bed until she recovered enough to jump on the bed with me.

“Not dead yet!”

I meant when I'm the editor, not the author. And of course, not for book-type-writing. Or writhing, which is what I typed the first time.

That's what I figured you meant, Jesse-- and I dunno, I think writhing is perfectly acceptable in this context.

I can pick Loki up after 5, he's fine.

Yay, Loki!

An interesting look at the transition teams that Obama and McCain have.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Our first cat (white, beautiful, friendly but not cuddly) had to be spayed. When we picked her up at the vet's he told us to keep her from jumping down from high places, and especially to keep her from climibing trees. Well, she'd never shown any inclination to climb a tree, not once, so we didn't worry about THAT. Yes, we took her home, let her out in the back yard for some fresh air, and she promptly climbed a tree and fell out. (She was fine and lived to a ripe old age.)

Me too! Heh. Seriously, this kitten EATS. In about 3 weeks I went through a bag for him and Devi of her spun-gold-for-turbulent-tummies food. It usually lasts a LOT longer. I found some much cheaper stuff for him, because at that price um, no.

He'll be extra dopey because he also got his followup distemper (I think?) shot and had a wee reaction to that, so they dosed him with benadryl.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The word "look" made me thing that for McCain they'd have a picture of some Orcs....
