Zoe: I thought you wanted to spend more time off-ship this visit. Wash: Out there is seems like it's all fancy parties. I like our party better. The dress code is easier and I know all the steps.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In the US, I say it Americanized. I wanted to switch at some point to the Polish pronunciation, but habit is a hard thing to break.

OK, then it doesn't seem overly complicated. My best friend growing up said her Polish last name in a Polish fashion (Americanized, I'm sure, but still), but her cousins said it straight English.

Ugh, Sophia, what a nightmare.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It is my own damn fault. That is just the last place I remember having it, and it is not in my purse, my desk, my pockets or my laptop bag. I am pretty sure I sat it on the tampon container thingie, but really it could be anywhere, even in my office. It is not a good time to be without a phone for me (this replaced my landline), so I think I am going to have to order the cheapest phone they have if it does not come back tomorrow, and downgrade my plan just so I can have a phone....

Sort of on the same subject, is there any sort of free software that I can put on my computer to be an alarm. I use my cell as my alarm and I have to by up by 4:15 am. I don't think I will wake without and alarm!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sophia, Mac or Windows? I can't remember.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where is everyone? I was reading you.

I do both! But it is a windows work machine.

I just got home, got off the bus, and fell. I almost couldn't get up because I had nothing to hold onto, and I had twisted my ankle under me. That is the 4th or 5th time I have fallen getting off the bus in that spot, and I fear for myself when I get older. It is a really big step for me, and my ankles are really weak, and for some reason, the bus stop is about a foot from pavement, and I need to get out on grass. If I hit a not perfectly flat piece of ground, my ankle twists and down I go.

What a day! Work was also hellaciously stressful, as well as long. I am about to have some ater tots and wine, the dinner of stress.

Ack. Tater tots are healing food, though.

I'm making deep dish pizza again, but I'm still at the first proofing and am hungry, dammit.

Because books.

That's some day, Sophia. Yikes. Wine sounds like a very good idea.

I had ... frozen pizza for dinner. There was no proofing involved, thank goodness.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had a hamburger with grilled onions, cheddar and BBQ sauce and a three berry crumble ala mode. My favorite part of business trips--room service!
