Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not so sure about this new minion.

Did Minion call you in a panic and keep saying "why does this keep happening to me?"

Maybe that was just my day yesterday though.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

She wrote back saying it looks like you have to register on some site to figure it out. OK...so register! I'm not so sure about this new minion.

I would have ask the same, Jesse. If I'm new to a workplace, and not sure about the policy of registering myself to sites in order to check things. Not out of laziness or short sight, but because of information security.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Dear Gud - at least they don't have an old washer on the porch and several junkers up on cinder blocks ... yet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Did Minion call you in a panic and keep saying "why does this keep happening to me?"

I almost wish she would panic more. Maybe I do need to instill fear!

This is her first office job, so I think it's just not knowing to take the next step.

I guess it's different when it's your boss calling and panicing, huh?

Ha ha, yeah. Ugh.

Oh, minion did register for the site, and as me, which I wanted but hadn't mentioned, so that's good. I just need to be more directive, I think. I was so spoiled with my old minion!

Understood. Still, age factor wins here. She has my Fellow-Young-Persons-Starting-Life sympathy. And so do you.

That's the ticket, just tell her "Get the information, I don't care how you do it!". Another tip, you never have to get bad news if everyone is afraid to tell you bad news. I should write a management book.

You can call it "Leading Like W."

People are making me look dumb. 5 minutes after sending out an email stating something will not be done, I get one saying it IS BEING done.

Well, gee, thanks for telling me!!!!
